Shanghai based online gaming company The9 is getting ready to release a new expansion for its MMORPG MU. The9 licensed MU from Korea's Webzen and launched the game commercially in February 2003. The9 will open a trial server farm from April 12 to April 20 to allow players to experience the new version. Account registration for the trial server farm started on April 7 and will last until April 9. MU was once one of the top MMORPGs operating in China, but has been hit hard by pirate servers.
Yarrr, they need to be bringing in a British Royal Navy fleet to take care of that. The H.M.S. Catass is a 128-gun warship that would strike fear into the hearts of any pirates I know.
